About Me

I’m Lindsay Gooze. I help people who struggle with anxiety, depression, and eating disorders heal their relationships with themselves

Why I love what I do

I love working with people who face these issues, because I have been there. I know the hell of living with these struggles and how difficult it is to recover. I also know the joy, freedom, and confidence that comes with getting to the other side. However, I did not get here on my own, and I don’t think you should have to do it alone either.

I am passionate about working with my clients because they are some of the most loving, sensitive, intelligent, and creative people I have ever met. I am honored to be a part of their journey and walk with them towards the life they truly deserve.

What it is like to work with me

My therapeutic style is grounded in compassion, calm, and non-judgement, with a dash of humor and encouragement. I laugh with and encourage my clients, but I also will call out behavior and ways of thinking that are self-defeating and get in their way.

I will work with you to identify goals in different areas of your life. On a weekly basis, I will help you make small, realistic changes to the patterns that are causing you so much distress. You will learn skills that you can practice in session with me and take with you to use in the outside world.

Professional Experience

I have been working with people struggling with eating disorders, anxiety, and depression for over 10 years. Before working in private practice, I worked as Lead Therapist at an eating disorder treatment center. I gained years of experience and expertise helping lead a team of therapists to provide quality care to people struggling with eating disorders, anxiety, depression, PTSD, substance abuse, and OCD.

I have also worked with people facing general life challenges, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues in my private practice and community based clinics.

I’d love to help you live a happier and more full life!
